Bike Fit: The Key to Comfort and Efficiency

Getting a professional bike fit is one of the most commonly skipped steps when buying a new bike.
Everyone’s body is different. Some of us have long legs and short torsos; some women struggle to reach their brake levers due to small hands; some people pedal differently to others. The beauty is that bikes have adjustable components, so slight tweaks by a professional will completely change your experience. Book in a session below with Blair.

Triathlon Fit

All aspects of a VelogicFit assessment on a bike equipped with aerobars. Due to more time-intensive hardware adjustments and position modifications, a triathlon fit can take up to an hour longer and is charged out accordingly to ensure that your PB goals can be crushed at your next event.

Multi bike fits

After receiving a fit, most riders ask to have the same adjustments made to the other bikes in their personal collection. Enquire with your fitter to see what time is needed and packages are available to suit your individual needs.  Any bikes included in a package price would need to be completed within one month of your initial fit.
"Being a competitive triathlete for 14 years, I am always looking to maximise my biomechanics for efficiency and performance. I have always had manual bike fits in the past but wanted to analyse my fit when actually riding, as opposed to just a static position. Due to recent suffering of pain in my lower back and hip, I had my position checked by Spoken Cycles, Cambridge, through the Velogic Fit System. With their expertise and the 3D data capture software of the system, i was provided with an extremely accurate measurement of my position, which instantly highlighted an imbalance affecting my hip. My first ride after the fit was 181km of varied terrain and i was able to get off the bike and run without pain. If you are looking to maximise your potential and increase power output and efficiency on the bike, then i would highly recommend the Velogic Fit System at Spoken Cycles in Cambridge." Kerry Huston, Cambridge
