The R8100 2-speed crank brings maximum power transfer efficiency to your road bike. At the same time, shifting is as fast and precise as usual. The crank arms are hollow-formed, as is the large chainring, which is partly made of carbon, resulting in significant weight savings. Apart from the axle, all essential parts were made of lightweight metal.

Thanks to the Hollowtech II design, which has been tried and tested for years, with a fixed 24 mm axle, the ratio of stiffness, performance and weight is just right. The small chainring is made entirely of aluminium, while durable composite is also used on the large chainring. FC-R8100 has an asymmetrical 4-arm bolt circle diameter of 110 mm.
